Iron rich stoneware. Fired to 1280 Celcius. Vitrified.
Lime green glaze. The glaze reacts with the minerals in the clay body to form rivulets and streaks.
Gold plated with 24K real gold. The gold lustre is applied before the third and final firing. This urn spent a total of 100 hours in the kiln.
