Marianne Annereau creates different species of air planters all year round. She has a greenhouse in her backyard where she nurses the plants. If you have never owned an air plant before, then you might be wondering how the air plant itself is happy living upside down. Air plants don’t require soil.. They extract nutrients from the air. They are super easy to look after, simply spray them with water once a week. All the air plant shells are handmade and fired in Subiaco, Western Australia. The upside down plants are held in with plastic coated wire.
